Hollowed and hallowed

I feel hollowed out here tonight, at news of the death of The Queen.

I’m not even a royalist, but you can be attached to something that forms a basis of your ideals and values, and memories, and a love of history.

To think of all the people she’s met and places she’s seen is mind blowing.

Sad tonight.
