Why do I feel as if I should be feeling like some kind of social lepur just because I can never put “travelling” in my list of interests?

Let me tell you something – your ability to bang on and on about travelling and how many countries you’ve been to and how you can’t wait to get on a plane again, or how you have really bad “wanderlust” (puke) does not make you a better person. It makes you a travel bore.

Equally, it does not make me a boring, or soulless person just because I don’t feel a need to visit every country on Earth.

No one gives a fucking shit how many countries you’ve visited, or about seeing your grinning bozo face in Naples, Peru, Siberia, Budapest, or even Australia. You are the online equivalent of those fucking tedious wankers who insisted on showing you their travel slides about 30 years ago.

The only person who can’t spot this is you.
