Look at that!! Took most of my last day off and most of my brain power with the cable routing and the fact that the PC didn’t respond when I first tried to power it back on (one of the 8-pin motherboard cables at the top wasn’t fully pushed home).
But it’s fucking lovely now. So many cables are out. I have the ASUS Aura PSU in there now. Yes, I basically had a 1000W ROG Strix PSU for about 3 weeks. Brilliant eh. The Aura cost about £100 more – essentially just for the ATX 3.0 and 12 pin GPU cable socket. But you know what? It led to SO many cables being removed from the system, I think it just might have been worth it.
