Back To the Familiar

Uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuggggggggggggggghhhhhhhh looks like I’ll be heading back to Pinnacle Studio after all.

I just tried a free trial of Magix Movie Maker and I was getting a fucking headache just trying to work out how to edit the first video I uploaded. I should be getting a headache trying to do THE MOST BASIC FUCKING TASK YOU CAN POSSIBLY DO IN A VIDEO EDITOR.

It just loaded the video up in the bit underneath as is – no stretching, no nothing. Oh I’m sure there IS a way to get it to stretch so you can start editing it. My point is, I shouldn’t fucking need to work out how to fucking do that. It would surely be the default result of uploading a video to a “video editor” – present it off the bat in a way the lets you…well, you know…EDIT IT…..??? Fuck sake.

Looks like just over £50 is the cheapest for the Standard version of Pinnacle 26. Maybe I’ll even get 25 if there’s a nice price I can find. I’m loathed to give Corel my money again after the stunt they pulled. But so be it. I want SOMETHING I can just use without getting a fucking headache, and make my YouTube videos the best that they can be.
