Improvement with Age

A strange thing has happened to me over the years with point and click adventure games. I’ve actually got better at them as the years have rolled on.

When I first started playing them, in the late 1990’s, and not through any sense of youthful impatience, I more often than not got stuck quite quickly and immediately resorted to using a walkthrough.

These days, I can start one off, inluding ones I’ve long since stopped playing but had never completed, and I can somehow manage to plough through the game with not a hint or walkthrough used. I don’t know why that is. I thought brains were supposed to wear down, not get better at stuff.

But I like it.

I'm a gamer. I'm a coaster. I am happy in general. We're all born by chance and we're all gonna die. That makes me no better or worse than you. Get over that fact and we'll probably get along. I comment on the Google news feed a lot. Oh, and I swear quite a lot.
