Yaaaay for unnecessary purchases that are your fault

I’m having to buy a new car stereo. I did not want a new car stereo, and there is absolutely nothing operationally wrong with my car stereo. But clever person here put the facia on wonky, and then could not get the damn thing off again until I’d snapped off the springy plastic that mounts it to the unit.

It’s now even MORE hard to find a display that’s legible. Pretty much ALL of them now (that aren’t those hideously expensive new ones with the video displays) have reverted to those dreadful 1980’s style blocky lettering, where a square 8 is supposed to be a “B”.

Uggghh, at this rate I’m going to have to track down a used or reconditioned one. The search is ongoing.
