Gaming in colour: uncovering video games’ black pioneers | Games | The Guardian

Ohhh, the Channel F!! I’m sure us gamers all have fond memories and nostalgia about the Channel F…..right..?

Did the pillock cobbling this latest piece of Victim Olympics fodder together ever stop to consider that people judge games and console development in terms of mass, global success, and not on what colour the skin is of the inventors….? No, I don’t expect he did.

Oh, but “how many others are forgotten?” I don’t know. How many white person’s inventions that didn’t take off, get much traction, or were merely superseded by technology that ended up forming part of what replaced it have been forgotten?

Stop trying to turn EVERY FUCKING THING into being about the colour of someone’s skin. Because you’re just making them look like circus animals. Your little pet project.

Black people don’t need patronising, or helped by your ignorant white saviourisms. Black people just tend to get on with life – much like every other human in this world.

Guardian writers are utterly clueless.

I'm a gamer. I'm a coaster. I am happy in general. We're all born by chance and we're all gonna die. That makes me no better or worse than you. Get over that fact and we'll probably get along. I comment on the Google news feed a lot. Oh, and I swear quite a lot.
