Probably my favourite seasonal bargain of 2020

THIS was my blissfully happy childhood. I believe this is the 80’s design. That’s 1980’s, in case you happy to be reading this in 100 years time – at which point I won’t be able to point that out.

I don’t buy Rice Krispies now I live on my own, it’s the imagery that makes me feel so happy – coming from a time when I didn’t have to buy anything myself. I used to have these with probably several sprinklings of sugar – each a replacement for when the previous layer had gone.

These mugs were £4 before Christmas. I really didn’t fancy paying £4 for a mug.

I missed out on the collection with the mug in…

But there, sat on a shelf in a completely different aisle, was the last Rice Krispies mug. I was glad because I wouldn’t have wanted all the rest of that stuff anyway. When I checked my receipt the mug had been slashed to £1!!

Happy childhood restored. 😌

I'm a gamer. I'm a coaster. I am happy in general. We're all born by chance and we're all gonna die. That makes me no better or worse than you. Get over that fact and we'll probably get along. I comment on the Google news feed a lot. Oh, and I swear quite a lot.
