Well it all went smoothly, right up until I went to check the new drive was showing as E. It wasn’t even THERE. Of course, I had to go into disc management and force it to be recognised. As is the stunted way of Windows….I think if I remember right not even exclusively to Windows 10.
But it’s all safely in now. Removing the hard disk cage was as simple as removing 1 SCREW from the rear of the PC – and to access that I needed only to remove the rear panel. I so clearly remember days gone by, and not all that long ago, I’d have needed to unplug everything, lay the PC down on its side, open up both panels, probably have to move something out the way like the graphics card to get access to the hard disk area. NO MORE!!! This case is fucking amazing. A few minutes after starting I was ready to boot back up again.
Downloading my chosen games again now….
