Ordered what I presumed to be an add-on pack for the base game of Assetto Corsa – Assetto Corsa – Competizione. This was clearly fucking listed as such on the Voidu.com site for around £9. Best price I could find (from a legit seller).
I’m not saying Voidu.com aren’t a legit seller, I’m saying their listing was clearly fucking WRONG. Do you honestly think I’m stupid enough to not recognise DLC from a base game. Voidu could not help me out, though they tried, and referred me to either Steam support (yeah right – we’ll come to that) or the publisher (505games).
I went to look at Steam …ahem…”Support”. It basically takes you round and round in circles, and unless you bought the game through Steam itself, Valve just repeatedly fobs you off to the publisher. Nice work, you useless cunts.
Anyway, I got in touch with 505games, who were most helpful. They asked me for proof of purchase for everything, and after looking at my screenshots, told me Voidu had actually sold me………………………………….DLC.
You fucking bell-ends. Just before the 505games support case was closed I asked them to link me to the base game.
Handily enough for Voidu, they have subsequently changed my Order listing!!! It’s now saying “Intercontinental GT Pack” by it. It absolutely fucking DID NOT say that next to it in the listing on their site when I bought what I thought was the base game. But what the fuck can you do now. They’ve changed the listing, they’re already covered.
I feel a TrustPilot review coming on……
