Your next smartphone will be a lot harder to scratch – Ars Technica

Yeah right.

Considering the Gorilla Glass 6 on my Zenfone 6 has already scratched after a few months (and no abuse), whereas the Gorilla Glass 5 on my Xperia XZ Premium is still pristine (after at least a year and being thrown around the room quite a few times in frustration at one of my phone games – I know this because the colleague I sold it on to is still using it) it looks like quality control is heading in the wrong direction over at Corning.

I'm a gamer. I'm a coaster. I am happy in general. We're all born by chance and we're all gonna die. That makes me no better or worse than you. Get over that fact and we'll probably get along. I comment on the Google news feed a lot. Oh, and I swear quite a lot.
